Things get complicated and plans get sidetracked when Rosie unexpectedly discovers she’s pregnant, just before she plans to move with Alex to the US to attend college. Alex is not the child’s father and as the years pass the pair stay in touch by instant messages, letters and e-mails as their lives change and destinies unfold.
